dark red2022with anne teresa de keersmaeker

For Dark Red – Neue Nationalgalerie, Cassiel Gaube responds to the invitation of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker to collaborate with herself and Soa Ratsifandrihana, alongside flutist Chryssi Dimitriou and visual artist Ann Veronica Janssens, to co-author a durational performance for the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin.
De Keersmaeker, Gaube and Ratsifandrihana each compose a solo to the eight parts of L’Opera per flauto by Salvatore Sciarrino, which they then perform for four days, sometimes on their own, sometimes intertwining their dances, to Chryssi Dimitriou’s performance of Sciarrino’s music.
